DEER

The Digital Enterprise Education and Research (DEER) Foundation is a non-profit foundation that was established by IDEAlliance in 2005.  The DEER foundation has a mission to promote research and education for graphic arts and the media industry. 

DEER fulfills its research mission by funding research studies at the request of IDEAlliance Working Groups and Committees.  Watch this page for news about research studies that are underway and reports on studies that have been completed.

DEER fulfills its educational mission by conducting online education through an ongoing series of live and recorded Webinars.  IDEAlliance members and  faculty and students participating in the DEER Educational Alliance can attend any IDEAlliance Webinar free of charge.  DEER is establishing an online archive of recorded Webinars are made freely available to IDEAlliance members, students and faculty. 

P3 Luminaire Award

The Luminaire Award was instituted in 1988 to commemorate the outstanding achievements and personal dedication of men an women in our industry, people committed to educating themselves and others, those who are leaders and innovators in their field. Each year since then, the graphic arts community has gathered to honor these outstanding individuals at the Luminaire Awards Dinner. The Foundation for P3, Digital Enterprise Educational Research Foundation (DEER), will host the 23rd Annual Luminaire Awards. The award dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at The Pierre Hotel,Fifth Avenue at 61st Street, New York, New York. ►Learn More about this Event
